Are you an Aborigine? Are you disabled? Are you a young person currently unemployed, or even enjoying their Gap Year? Then Tony has the job for you!
You might be paid only half the minimum wage and not be covered by Commonwealth workplace laws but (and this is especially for the Gap Year kids), you might like to consider it as akin to working on a kibbutz . . . it’s all about the experience isn’t it?
“Only Tony Abbott could create a ‘workforce’ where the workers aren’t legally workers and have no workplace rights“: Adam Bandt.
Clearly the intent of this ‘initiative’ is all about killing several birds with one stone, with Tony Abbott clearly expecting to be able to claim that he’s tackling the ‘absolute crap’ of climate change (his promised Green Army) while simultanously artificially bringing down the numbers of youth unemployment; while undercutting the rights of the young employed, and undermining the minimum wage. And perhaps those Graduates and Aborigines might be the same people whose jobs he cut.
Women, junior workers, graduates and indigenous people will bear the brunt of a federal government order to cut 14,000 temporary workers, an analysis of government workplace statistics shows.
Graduate and indigenous recruitment will be slashed, hiring will be frozen across the bureaucracy and lead science organisation CSIRO will be among the the agencies hardest hit with the jobs of up to 1400 scientists and researchers threatened.
Does anyone else see something quite Dickensian about the vision of ‘an army of’ people with disabilities ‘enlisted’ to do “. . .manual labour, including clearing local creeks and waterways, fencing and tree planting“. Perhaps it hasn’t entered the minds of Tony Abbott and Greg Hunt that many people with disabilities might struggle to perform tasks such as fencing and clearing local creeks of rubbish, and especially for a compulsory 30 hours per week.
Surely it cannot be possible that a person with a disability such as Downs Syndrome might be shifted onto the lower allowance of NewStart should they prove themselve capable of “manual labour”?
As suspected, Abbott’s so-called Green Army is nothing more than a Work for the Dole scheme which will primarily focus on cleaning up rubbish. After all it was one of Tony Abbott’s more memorable predictions, that Aborigines should be grateful for what ever job they could get, even if it’s just “picking up rubbish around the community”. Brilliant in it’s inception, Aborigines get to clean up rubbish alongside those other “dregs of society”, the disabled. It should be quite an adventure for those graduates and Gap Year kids expecting an environmental, kibbutz-style experience.
Having clearly given up on the pretext that Abbott’s Green Army has anything whatsoever to do with Climate Change action, the real crux of the matter has now finally been admitted – it’s all about tidying up those messy unemployment and Disability Support Pension figures.
From the Daily Telegraph:
Follow @MinkelCTJOB snobs who refuse work because it’s too far to travel are in the federal government’s sights under reforms that would also collapse the disability support pension and unemployment benefits into a single universal welfare payment.
(Kevin Andrews is). . . determined to remove the “perverse incentive’’ to claim the disability pension because it is worth an extra $250 a fortnight compared to Newstart. . .
Considerable legalities notwithstanding, can the “Green Army” achieve anything significant in terms of carbon sequestration in trees? Here are the salient numbers (in round figures): Australia produces about 500 million tonnes of carbon/year. Australia forests can sequester about 1 tonne/Ha/year. Australia’s total area not already forested is about 500 million Ha. ie ALL of Australia would need to be planted in forests to sequester our emissions. OK- that’s ambitious and impossible (Australia 10% arable- World Bank), but let’s say they cover 10% of Australia with NEW trees- what does that look like? It’s 5 billion trees (@ 100 trees/Ha). Each memeber of the Green Army of 15,000 would have to plant 1 tree every 10 seconds of their workday for a year to do that. Australia’s present total forest area is 150 million Ha. And that’s just 10% of Australia’s present emissions. Hmmm….
I do not know, if many know, the dole for the young is means tested on the income of the parents. This is up to their middle twenties. Not too sure of the age, but Gillard did lower it a couple of years since I believe 28 years that Howard introduced.
Once again, this government is going after waste that does not exist. Labor beats him to it, as they did with PS numbers.
Did not they ever take any notice of any of the legislation that Labor managed to pass.
Jedbaker, and to add to that, when Abbott introduced his tree planting idea back in 2010 there was an uproar from the Nationals who demanded an undertaking that tree planting programs should in no way impact on viable farming land. Abbott finally concluded that tree planting would take place only on unviable land and as urban infill such as parks, gardens and naturestrips. Impact on climate change? So negligible to be counted as zero.
Maybe this government believes the unemployed should be treated a convict. The so called Green Army seems to be little short of the chain gangs of as a couple of centuries ago.
I seem to recall, that even the convicts had some rights, It appears we are losing ours quickly. This government, I believe, is into tough love, and father knows best.
Fed up, I doubt it..the Libs in opposition were too busy saying no to everything. It is abundantly clear that they wasted their (and our) entire time in opposition.
How does Abbott explain, cutting back on national parks, when it comes to the national forests. Yes opening them up for being cut down. It is the old trees, that absorb the most carbon,.
Carol, there was something today, about bringing Newsttart and disability benefited more into line, Have not seen the details., This would be a massive change, as these benefits are among the most generous. Generous for good reasons,
Could the Green Army information be released to cover this action, they are intending to take., That is attacking the disability pension.
I see it mentioned in the Telegraph article above. I can’t see how these two benefits could be collapsed into one, There are many good reasons why no government has attacked the Disability Pension up to now,
I wonder if they think, they are talking about sickness benefits, which historically been near unemployment benefits.
How can one collapse a high payment, disability, into the lowest benefit, Newstart. Well the lowest area, aside from special benefits.
If I was on a disability pension, I would start worrying.
Does Mr. Andrew, who I believe is a charity worker, not know, the difference is, one is on a disability pension for life, with little chance of increasing one’s income.
Newstart is a temporary measure to tide one over, until they get another job. Entirely different.
As a disabled person who can and does work, this truly offends me. The idea of creating a class of disabled “enlisted volunteers” and Aboriginals to clean up after the upper class is backward and disgusting.
First it was the Immigrants and Asylum Seekers, then the bikies and Unions…..now the disabled. Who is next?
It’s also interesting that it continues Abbott’s choice of military imagery. “Army”! The “war” being…?
Loc, as you can see from the rhetoric in the quote from the Daily Telegraph, the DSP is, Kevin Andrews claims, “a perverse disincentive” to work. Clearly the inference is that people feign disability (clearly in collusion with their doctor and specialists) to loll around on the DSP. As you note, the inference that disabled people cheat and lie and feign their disability is truly offensive.
And as for crews of Aboriginal people working in gangs to clean up naturestrips at the behest of the white overseer…what can one say?
Statically speaking about 60% of the green army or their parents supported Abbott and co and about 80% of the them don’t/won’t support a union. My point is, who cares if these dumb shits work for 5 bucks an hour with no workplace protection whatsoever, As a paying union member most of my working life I’m sick of fighting for parasites like these who accept all the wages and conditions we fought for over the years. The only time the union hears from them is when they cry for help after being shafted. Yes, there are some crooks in unions just as there are crooks in business or politics but without unions workers are stuffed. PS; There are no workers unions in Bangladesh but plenty of employers unions..
PPS; If there weren’t crooks like these in the world we wouldn’t need unions..>>NEW DELHI — The police in Bangladesh charged the owners of a garment factory and 11 of their employees with culpable homicide in the deaths of 112 workers in a fire last year that came to symbolize the appalling working conditions in the country’s dominant textile industry.
The case is the first time the authorities have sought to prosecute factory owners in Bangladesh’s garment industry, so powerful that the state has long sought to protect owners from unionization efforts by workers and from international scrutiny of working conditions. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/23/world/asia/bangladeshi-factory-owners-charged-in-fatal-fire.html?_r=0
With thanks to The Daily Telegraph Pole facebook group…
Will they use it to dodgily bolster “employment” figures? That’s what part of work-for-the-dole was about for Howard I believe?
“Graduate and indigenous recruitment will be slashed”
Why is a blackfella entitled to a job before a whitefella ???
Why is a uni graduate entitled to a job before a TAFE certificate holder ??? It doesn’t take that much nouse to process a Newstart Allowance fortnightly statement on a computer screen.
And where is it stated that these people who will be trained for free with valuable social and physical skills will be paid less than $16.47 per hour which is the minimum wage.
Not only do DSP recipients have to have medical evidence of their disability, they also have to pass a Centrelink assessment before being approved as eligible for DSP.
As always, Andrews is talking out of his backside. It’ll be interesting to see how many supervisors they’ll need to ensure that a lot of disabled workers will be able to perform these tasks. Could end up costing far more than paying DSP.
Only the Liars could possibly dream up this appalling attack on the nation’s most vulnerable.
Do you read anything outside of right wing headlines and slogans palmersaurus or are you happy to wallow in ignorance for the rest of your life.
That wage figure came from the government.
Shit it would scare me to be that narrow minded and cocooned in an ideology that actively promotes ignorance.
jane it is where Howard’s crack down on welfare so spectacularly failed, and no surprise Bishop the elder was in charge of it.
Abbott wants to raise Howard’s failed attempt again and will fail even more spectacularly for the same reason.
wow, mr sore palms. Valuable Training for picking up rubbish and digging holes ? you really need to leave it alone !
the rate of increase on Government Benifits is unsustainable.
Do you know what that word means?
Increased numbers of benificaries means soon there will be more with their
hand out than those working to provide tax etc.
Simple maths really.
The Australian Murdoch/Abbott Government should STOP blaming the sick, the disabled, the poor, the aged, the unemployed, the workers, Julia Gillard etc etc etc for their bad management. STOP Marginalising by demonising large section’s of the population or eventually one day one of them will pick up a brick. Deja vu London Riots
And who told you the rare was unsustainable VOYAGER, without supplying in figures or projections by the way?
You do know that the PPL is unsustainable, but Abbott isn’t going to crack down on that?
And do yourself a favour and read up why the crackdown failed under Howard.
I find it passing strange that DSP recipients are capable of taking part in violent crimes, including bashing women and police cars at demonstrations.
“Abbott wants to raise Howard’s failed attempt again and will fail even more spectacularly for the same reason.”
Will fail even more so. There is little of no fat to cut, after six years of Labor. PM Gillard ran a tight ship. Years of fiscal consolidation seen to that,
Just read some more on Abbott’s Green pressed gangs, and it doesn’t make sense.
There are going to be full time projects, but they only go for 26 weeks, so aren’t really full time at all.
The pressed workers will be in gangs of 10 with 9 workers and 1 supervisor. The work done will give the workers a Certificate 1 or 2 in Land Management. For that to be the case it means the supervisor will have to have a Certificate in Training and Assessment and the full VET processes followed, including WH&S, which is integral to both Cert in Training and Assessment and for the Cert in Land Care.
If Abbott, as stated, overturns all requirements for this training and work then the Certificates aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
Plus I believe the training would have to be undertaken by a RTO, with TAFE being the most obvious, but both the Federal and State Liberals are slashing TAFE with the aim of removing them as part of their dumbing down of the country for their big business mates.
And they state, with no business plan or costings of any type being made public, their Green press gangs will cost $300 million over four years, which doesn’t work out even at the low wages they are paying.
It’s a farce.
I think it’s about time you put up or shut up palmersaurus or should I say…. no I won’t.
Yes Möbius Ecko I do read things. If you read the SMH report (an avowed socialist tabloid) you will see that no-one will work more than 30 hours. They will be paid the minimum hourly rate. 20 hours @ $16.47 = $329.40. And they can still get a 2nd job. It’s a win win for the unemployed. And they are helping Gaia – Allah bless them.
( Q ) .. How many members of the Abbott front bench does it take to change a light bulb.. ( A ).. None, they grope around in the dark and blame somebody/anybody something/anything else
Leigh Sales is off on $240,000 taxpayer mfunded maternity leave. What’s the difference between her rip-off and the PPL. And as an LNP voter, I along with many, don’t support it. Women should be kept barefott and pregnant without a baby bonus. Women take jobs from needy Aboriginal adolescents.
It is not true, that there has been an uncontrollable blow out in expenditures in the Disabiliy portfolio.
Fact and figures do not back up this claim.
This is another lie, created by this government, too, it seems demolish Centrelink and th4e benefits connected to it,
Any increase has an identifiable source. It has been in line with the increase if population and other changes made.
Yes, I believe recently there was a jump. This occurred, after many were taken for the single parent benefit, due to Gillard bring those under Howard’s grandfather clause in line with those covered by his changes. Many were found to be entitled to the disability pension. I understand why many would have rather stayed on the previous benefit. Did not involve going through the medical procedures to be eligible.
The list grows in times of unemployment. Yes, some who are borderline disable manage to survive when there is plenty of work. It is these same people who are the first to go, when unemployment grows.
I expect some friends that visit here, to howl me down, Would like them to come back with real proof, not the word of Andrews and Co.
This is a rich country, that can afford to look after its weak and vulnerable, It is not about being able to afford. It is about choice. The choice of what a government decides to spend the taxpayers money on.,
As the woman from the IMF said, one must spend on health and education. Not to, is not an option for a country that hopes to thrive. She also said that in bad times, it should not be left up to the unemployed and PS to pay the price. Yes, words to that effect.
Palmer you will not find many DSP folk doing crime. If there are many mentally ill people on DSP who cannot get jobs it is cos the govt does not fund enough for their long term psychotherapy and counselling to find out what will really help them if anything . These people are not functional enough to keep work due to having been left for years floundering without enough help. I know several. They are good people but logic and directed action are not in their ballpark. The people with physical disabilities obviously cannot do much.
:”TAFE is the most obvious, but both the Federal and State Liberals are slashing TAFE with”
It is said, that TAFE have moved these courses from trade stream, to an area where I can cost up to $5000to attain a Certificate. The certificate allows one to find work which is low paid. Yes, and thanks to government cuts, the jobs are disappearing.
Jobs were to be found with councils and places like national parks. These have all cut back spending.
With this government, it’s left hand has no idea of what the left is doing.
People have been choosing to study in this field. Yes, government has closed the options down.
Oh sure, Voyager, whereas the growth in lost revenue from the 30% PHI rebate & Negative Gearing is *totally* sustainable….NOT. Actually, all the facts show that our welfare bill (especially excluding aged pensions) is entirely sustainable. Voyager & Hairy Palms need to stop getting their info from Rupert “Phone Hacker” Murdoch.
Strange that leftards never mention the only hacking done in Australia was by two convicted criminals still employed by the corrupt Fairfax Media conglomerate. Inderpendent – my arse. Bunch of criminals !!!!!!

Top Chinese official makes landmark Afghan visit
(AFP) – Sep 23, 2012
KABUL — China’s top security official has made the first high-level trip to Afghanistan by a senior Chinese leader in nearly half a century, meeting President Hamid Karzai in Kabul.
Zhou Yongkang made the four-hour visit on Saturday, in a secretive trip aimed at shoring up ties between the neighbours, China’s Xinhua news agency reported.
Karzai’s office said Zhou came to the war-battered nation to discuss the implementation of a strategic cooperation agreement that Karzai signed with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao in June.
During a meeting with Zhou in his Kabul palace, Karzai said “China is a good and honest friend of Afghanistan,” his office said in a statement.
Beijing has stepped up diplomacy with Afghanistan in recent months as the 2014 deadline for the withdrawal of US and NATO troops approaches.
China, which shares a 76-kilometre (47-mile) border with Afghanistan’s far northeast, has already secured major oil and copper mining concessions in Afghanistan, which is believed to have trillions in minerals………..
Submitting Non-Murdoch news Stories. .Not News Ltd Chinas grip tightens on rare earth; Analysts speculated that a large discovery of rare earth metals in the Pacific Ocean may have acted to loosen the Chinese monopoly on such resources, but now it appears the discovery is not large enough to impact China’s market control. Metals like terbium and dysprosium are used in the manufacturing of things like solar panels, hybrid cars, weapons systems and other high-value items, and China currently produces 97% of such metals. The new economic powerhouse recently reduced exports citing environmental regulations, which have acted to raise prices, but the World Trade Organization has declared the export practices are violating global trade rules. For more on this continue reading the following article. achiever
The discovery of a massive trove of rare earth metals at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean last week triggered a fleeting hope that China’s monopoly on the materials would be broken.
Unfortunately, the discovery may not have the impact many had hoped, which means prices for rare earth metals will continue to soar. That’s bad news for countries like the United States and Japan, which count on the scarce materials for high-tech industries.
Developed countries require rare earths to manufacture a wide range of high-tech products, including flat-panel displays, computers, hybrid car batteries, cell phones, solar panels and some advanced weapons systems.
For instance, there are more than 50 pounds of rare earth metals under the hood of a Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE ADR: TM) Prius. Terbium can cut the electricity demand of lights by up to 80% and fractions of dysprosium can significantly reduce the weight of magnets in electric motors. But China, which produces 97% of the world’s rare earth metals, has drastically reduced its exports over the past several years, driving prices skyward.
Citing “environmental protection,” China cut its rare earth exports to just 30,259 metric tons in 2010 from 67,521 metric tons in 2005.
That has caused runaway price increases for many of the 17 metals.
Over the past year dysprosium, used in specialized magnets, shot up from $300 per kilogram to $1,900 per kilogram and even higher. Neodymium has spiked to $450 per kilogram from $45 per kilogram late last year.
The Market Vectors Rare Earth Metals ETF (NYSE: REMX) is up 7.25% year-to-date and 32% over the past 12 months, as a result.
That’s why many analysts – and Western companies – breathed a sigh of relief this week when the World Trade Organization (WTO) ruled that China’s strict export policies on certain raw materials such as manganese, silicon carbide and yellow phosphorus, had broken global trade rules.
Although the WTO ruling did not apply to rare earth metals, most expect China to reconsider those export policies as a result of the decision
ABBOTT is hellbent on people losing jobs by not giving ailing companies financial assistance to keep manufacturing operations viable … It appears that the government’s main aim is to have over one million unemployed Australians and then get them to work for the dole by planting trees @ half the minimum wage … We don’t mind having extra trees in our parched country, but using slave labour to plant them … Come on now ABBOTT, do you think that this is one of your pie in the sky schemes (akin to the PPL) that will succeed??? Maybe you should get your head out of the clouds with your mates and start governing this nation in a proper manner … If you don’t act now and do the job that you were elected to do, you may find that the general majority of Australians may revolt against you and your party similar to what’s happening in Ukraine …
The Governments level playing field. extended to India and China , so wages of workers can be equalized , we need a revolution yesterday.
We should do what they do in the US (and Qld). Invent more crimes, and put more people in gaol. Then we could force them to do any work we want at $10 per day. Lend them out to ailing companies to bring down their costs! To match the US, I think we need 1% of the population, or about 200,000 people in gaol. This would also immediately bring down the unemployment ratio!
We could start with all the Right wing nuts jobs ! After all thats what they want !
Target the disease, the media and mining barons, Not just the symptom, Abbott and the LNP. Other than that just kick back and try to enjoy getting shafted again/still THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE, but not in Australia..

Of course, when everyone works for minimum wage – landlords, banks and real estate, food, clothing, cars, public transport, medical care and education will reduce proportionately. Otherwise deliberately paying wages which are tantamount to exploitation is a blatant disregard for a nation’s well-being and the LNP care about everyone – right?

As far as the travel to a job even if it’s more than 90 mins away – what about transport ? Where I live there is only 1 bus at 7am and a return bus at 4pm, Mon – Fri and not weekends. How is one supposed to get to any job offered ? Will this be taken into consideration ? Moving closer to the job will cost too much without extra support which won’t be given. I think this proposal has been thrown out there without much thought – pretty much like all the policies on the run of this govt.

Got this off a Guardian blog.
A man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, “What are all those clocks?”
St Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone who has ever been on earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move.”
“Oh,” said the man. “Whose clock is that?”
“That’s Mother Teresa’s,” replied St. Peter. “The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible,” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”
St Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abraham told only two lies in his entire life.”
“Where’s Tony Abbott’s clock?” asked the man.
St Peter replied, “We are using it it as a ceiling fan.”

Conservative media creates distrust in scientists through five main methods:
1) Presenting contrarian scientists as “objective” experts while presenting mainstream scientists as self-interested or biased.
2) Denigrating scientific institutions and peer-reviewed journals.
3) Equating peer-reviewed research with a politically liberal opinion.
4) Accusing climate scientists of manipulating data to fund research projects.

I wonder if Abbott is going to use one of his empty detention camps to house his Green Army. Reminds one of the National Service under Menzies in the 50 and 60;s. One where every young man had to serve six months. Only this one is like the National ser4vice theater follwed. Was for two years, but a birthday ballot was used.
Green Army it seems to be restricted to dole bludgers. . Maybe even those who linger on the disability pension, especially the mentally ill
palmersarous.
Honestly you are blinder than a mole.
Superannuation has made ALL of our citizens wealthier and helped them towards their retirement. As for your crap about working mums and dads paying the super it was taken out of each payrise and NOT added to it. if you negotiated a payrise of 4% then 1% went to super and you got 3% salary rise. So stop the bullshit and lies.
Previously everyone was NOT operated on in a few weeks, you are spounting crap. Only those with private health insurance had that luxury. Low income earners who could not afford private health insurance were relegated to a second hand poorly equipped health service so badly funded that many did without.
So what if they increased the age pension age. Even your beloved LNP think the age should be raised. the only difference is that your beloved LNP want us to work for peanuts and until death. the age pension also increases because our life expectancy has increased by over 20 years since it was implemented many years ago. Your knowledge of reality seems extremely limited and only limited to parroting LNP propaganda.
Just where are these selective schools you are bleating on about and what a pathetic response. Not even worth mentioning and once again crap trying to mould and shape peoples opinions with half baked lies. Public school provides education for ALL not just the rich.
So you mention one medicine with hate as a reason to scorn the PBS system. What a joke you are. The PBS system has THOUSANDS of medicines on it, surely you know someone who is able to afford life saving medicine as a result or is your hatred and spite of the ALP that savage that even you cannot see the benefit to the elderly, the poor and the low paid. I know many who would die from not being able to afford their medicine like they do in US.
The ALP has introduced policies that assist ALL and your ignorance shows what a lack of knowledge and poor investigation you put into your comments.
You would much rather think that Tax cuts for the Rich, Subsidies for the Wealthy, deductions for Big Business and rebates for others somehow helps the low paid and creates more jobs. A business will only ever hire how many staff it needs. if it needs 4 staff and then gets a tax cut it still only needs 4 staff no more and no less. that tax cut means less income for the Govt and less services to the people which means more cost to the people and less money to spend on the services and goods of business. Even a deaf and blind idiot can see that in capitalism.
Govt role is to temper the greed of capitalism to the benefit of ALL. Something your beloved LNP has totally forgotten, They are no longer liberals but rather right wing extremists brainwashed by the wealthy and big business into seeing a false benefit.
Terrific essay, Möbius Ecko, the following quote from Tim Senior:
recalled, for me, Howard’s declaration on any discussion of Aboriginal experience, culture and history as “black armband history”.
Another point I wish to make, yes, it is true there are more Greens supporters in our urban centres, there is also a higher density of population in these areas than elsewhere. Something to consider.
I Have worked out Abbotts Grand Plan The Green Army are to be Included in His Job Creation of a Million New Jobs , A message to mr Palmer sore arse You contribution to this site are Pitiful at best and are generally Utter tripe, Try and create a decent discussion point, I have taken Note of your Offerings to this site and you are really scraping the Bottom of the Garbage Barrel, By the way I /we on this site are waiting to be enlightened By You along with Voyager and the Don and Neil with Abbotts Good Point, (definitely not a plural word ) The Chameleon Man is working on his Image again as somebody has done up his tie Properly ( Should have strangled him while they had the Chance ), And this latest Nonsense regarding East timor documents that they may have used against Australia , And Brandis Promising not to sneak a peek Obviously the LNP know whats in them other wise why try and stop them if they don’t know whats in them, Downer was heavily involved Both as a Minister and then a lobbyist for the oil company m More sleaze from our sleazy LNP

JOIN THE DOTS >Israel and American relations at their lowest ebb for decades LOL. Time for another Hollywood blockbuster holocaust movie or maybe a few Murdoch headline’s like, Nazi war criminal found hiding in Brazil, they had to dig him up though as he’s been dead 30 years. The Jews have to stop playing the Nazi sympathy card, the rest of the world has moved on and there were a lot crimes committed in the 2nd world war. A lot of people were killed and they weren’t all Jewish. >
While Murdoch may have “tried to hide” his Jewish roots, he has been quite forthright about his support for extreme right-wing Zionists, such as Benjamin Netanyahu and Ariel Sharon.
Netanyahu, who wrote a book entitled The War on Terror: How the West Can Win in 1986, is a frequent commentator on Murdoch’s Fox News.
Murdoch’s support for Zionism extremists is well known and a matter of record. As New York Governor George Pataki said, “There is no newspaper in the U.S. more supportive of Israel than the [Murdoch’s] New York Post.”
It is through a network of Zionist organizations, in which Murdoch plays a central role, that Murdoch is connected to the individuals who arranged the privatization – and obtained control of the WORLD TRADE CENTER – shortly before its destruction.

Submitting Non-Murdoch news Stories. .Not News Ltd > Chinas grip tightens on rare earth; Analysts speculated that a large discovery of rare earth metals in the Pacific Ocean may have acted to loosen the Chinese monopoly on such resources, but now it appears the discovery is not large enough to impact China’s market control.
Terrorists are evil, we oughta know, we created them, with some help from Russia; Operation Cyclone was the code name for the US central Intelligence Agency program to arm and finance the Afghan Mujahideen prior to and during the Soviet war in Afghanistan 1979 to 1990. The program leaned heavily towards supporting militant Islamic groups that were favored by neighboring Pakistan, rather than other, less ideological Afghan resistance groups that had also been fighting the Marxist-oriented Democratic Republic of Afghanistan regime since before the Soviet intervention. Operation Cyclone was one of the longest and most expensive covert CIA operations ever undertaken but , funding began with $20–30 million per year in 1980 and rose to $630 million per year in 1987. Funding continued after 1989 as the Mujahideen battled the forces of Mohammad Najibullah’s PDPA during the civil war in Afghanistan, 1989 – 1992 >>On 25 December 1979, the Soviet Union deployed its army in Afghanistan, in support of the Afghan Communist government against a group of Muslim opponents. For the next nine years, only the active military involvement of the Soviet Union maintained any political control in Afghanistan, primarily through their control of the capital city of Kabul and its airport. With a long-drawn out military conflict that the Soviet army could not win, the Soviet-Afghan War was a constant embarrassment for Soviet military might. The expense of causalities and supplies was a constant drain on the already weak Soviet economy. As part of Mikhail Gorbachev’s reforms, economically and through his support of disarmament, the Soviet Union began to withdraw its troops in May 1988, with total withdrawal to be completed by 15 February 1989. The following excerpt is from a Soviet Politburo planning session for the final stages of the withdrawal, which considered the entire conflict a cold war loss to the U.S government and its Middle East allies IE; The Taliban.
The short version >> Religion. A weapon of mass destruction.. Richest people on earth v’s the poorest people on earth. About 75% of Afghans live on less than 1 dollar a day, 6 dollars a week. When the Russians invaded Afghanistan with the sole purpose of getting their minerals they had no defence till they turned their religion, with all it’s draconian laws into a weapon. ” something like the IRA did with Catholicism almost a hundred years ago”. Co-op America didn’t like the idea of the Russians getting their hands on all the Afghan mineral wealth, so they started to supply the religious fighters with arms and military tactical advice. The problem now is no-one can put this religious weapon back in it’s box, not Russia, not America, not England or Europe or Australia etc, not even the Taliban or the Islam religious leaders themselves. IE Pandora’s box.. ….Thanks for nothing Murdoch and co

Oi @slumdog – what about these corrupt union leaders who expect to be advised of Qantas board action before the market (ASX) is advised. That is illegal under the Corporations Act 2001, as those crooks in the union know. But they still think they can act illegally as they did under Gillard/Rudd where it was spot the honest credit-card carrying union exec who flies 1st class on “business”. No doubt some of the ALP pollies did a bit of insider trading too with Qantas in the old days.
Most corrupt union officials act in collusion with corrupt employers.
This we found with previous such royal commissions. Most end up catching employers, but very few union members.
The same will occur this time.
It will be an interesting exercise when the books of the HSU are thrown open.
The same could go for the AWU.
If one is after union blood, I would not begin gloating yet.

Palmersorearse, (TM LOVO)
Oh do tell me do, if all the boats have stopped what are the orange roughy lifeboats for? Who are they full of, and from whence do they come? Two simple questions palmersorearse, lets see if you have enough neurons to answer. Other than that delusion what has the imbecilic incompetent abattoir government achieved?
G’day All,
Oh. poor Palmersorearse (TM LOVO), so you mistakenly believe “what about these corrupt union leaders who expect to be advised of Qantas board action before the market (ASX) is advised”, well lets see if you can get that one and only neuron to fire on up and show us the details that shows that any union, or set of unions, that brought down the global economy like the banks/international corporations did with the GFC, ahh yes I thought so, you’ll take a blind side dump on the fuck ups caused by the LNP darlings such as Bernie Madoff, Enron, HIH and a cast of thousands to focus on a single alleged (basically a lie) Union transgression. We can tell from the way your lips more (i.e. LIE) you are a perfect LNP member.
G’day All,
Ahh, poor delusional, intellectually challenged palmersorearse (TM LOVO), “Underage marriage, genital mutilation, riots, drive-bys etc”, I’m not sure but am reasonably certain that both scientology and exclusive bretheren circumspect the underage marriage laws rather easily, that the catholic and jewish faiths practice “genital mutilations” with their circumcisions, and the riots, well who can forget the raging, redneck, bogan whites of Cronulla, and as far as drive byes go that would be the mafia or neo-nazi white supremacists. Ultimately, all the groups here point to some uni-neuronal, limited intelligence, bogan like you, perhaps we should just fuck you off and solve all our problems.
G’day All,

But, just for the sake of argument, show me the 80 odd (although in reality there are several thousand to one in favour of AGW), peer reviewed articles that deny that science, not conjecture and monckton blathering, but peer reviewed science. That’s right, poor delusional, intellectually challenged palmersorearse (TM LOVO), you can’t (or should that be with a “u”) just say something isn’t “so” without proof, where is it? Oh, and to add petrol to your fire, two of the most august (read conservative) scientific organisations, the Royal Society in the UK and the US National Academy of Sciences, http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/climate-change/now-the-two-most-famous-scientific-institutions-in-britain-and-the-us-agree-climate-change-is-more-certain-than-ever-9155396.html, have now both come out to issue climate change warnings that state the warming is “10 times faster than at the end of the last ice age, which represents the most rapid period of sustained temperature change on a global scale in history – and there is no end in sight if carbon emissions continue to increase”. So, poor delusional, challenged (on all levels), and profoundly stupid palmersorearse (TM LOVO), how are these august institutions “just money grubbing scientists seeking grants”.

Why do we not hear of all the sacrifices that unions and workers undertook to keep many industries going during the GFC. Yes, there were many actions, where less hours were worked. Yes, when the boss and workers work together, the results are always good.
Maybe someone can tell me why it is so bad for workers to employ someone to or talk on their behalf. Yes, that is what unions are for. The day the employer does not hire a lawyer, or belong to an industry group, i5t would be a level playing field.

Dear Shaun – those orange boats are gifts to that corrupt President of Indonesia. He sends us old boats full of future terrorists (the Pitt Street rioters for example) and we, via AUSAID, replace them with modern lifeboats. It’s a win win for Indonesia and Australia. Allahu akbar !!!!!!!
Shaun – the GFC was caused by corrupt negro pollies. Obama and his mates ordered Fannie May and Freddie Mac to lend money to negroes who had no hope of repaying cheap mortgages. It’s a bit hard repaying a loan when you’re on crack, doing drive-bys or are incarcerated.
Honestly Sean – stop defending these muzzie scumbags. The Cronulla riots were caused by muzzie sex deviants molesting Aussie girls on the beach and bashing up the lifesavers. What a fuckwit you are defending these terrorist scum.
How much has the temperature risen in the last 17 years – A BIT FAT ZERO, NADA, ZILCH !!!!!!!!!

Poor delusional intellectually challenged palmersorearse (™ LOVO), I take it from your “response” (and I use the term loosely) that you are admitting that the boats are still turning up, chalk up another failure to one term tony, that means he has no runs on the board at all. And your second “response” (term used even more loosely) shows that you have even less economic acumen than you do politically though I’m sure your ADL fans and your toilet buddy Jones will love your small minded racist rants. The third is a bit of delusional diarrhoea designed to excuse your toilet friends and the ADL. The fourth is a gem, a sparkling piece stupidity that out shines the rest, can’t answer the question and show the answer so instead regurgitate a foul piece of mindlessness, well done poor old palmersorearse you have exalted yourself in mindless stupidity, a shining light of vapid ignorance and racism, mind you, you are a cut above one term tonys’ front bench.

I especially like your point that for boat people to be still making the perilous voyage to Australian waters, orange boats are being handed out.
If boats have been stopped, ergo no orange boat handouts.
Simple to most of us at AIMN – apparently impossible reasoning for those who continue to post here and prove themselves to be the tools of Tones and Rupes.
Can’t even begin to imagine the nice little earner these Naval rescue boats are for either Indonesian or enterprising refugees. Although the family and friends of the murdered Reza Berati continue to grieve.
Tones still has the opportunity to change the current policy of asylum seekers to the safer and cheaper option of utilising the Australian navy to rescue and release asylum seekers directly onto Australian shores – where their claims can be swiftly assessed – and way less chance of being murdered. He could even use Reza’s death as justification and appear a hero instead of what he really is.

One problem with the orange boat idea is that it’s completely unsustainable…eventually Abbott and Morrison are going to run out of boats. A report in the MSM which amazingly was able to escape government censorship is that 12 orange vessels in total were purchased @$500,000 each. I think that we have 4 down and 8 still to be deployed. But what will Abbott do when he’s used up all of his lifeboats?
FFS – the orange roughies cost $60,000 each. You could buy a 75 foot cruiser for $1 million. Anyway – each faux economic monrel boat person costs more than $1 million each. Fuck ’em. We should stop rescuing the bastards – look what its doen to our patrol boats.
12 orange vessels in total were purchased @$500,000 each.
I think you will find that is 12 boats for a total of $500,000.
Saw it posted on a blog that Scott Morrison announced in Question Time yesterday that due to the boats not arriving any more we are now going to take 4,000 refugees from UNHCR camps.

he is one person neil ! I am talking about the whole front bench of the LNP. they have all been bought. wake up !
Neil, please take note. The system has dealt with Mr. Williamson. Yes, like it does with other people who commit crimes in society. Because he happens to belong to a union, does not make the matter better or worse.
Neil, why do you believe those who commit crimes in the union movement, should warrant special treatment.
Tonight, we have the PM demanding that the ABC doesn’t use their money, to fight a case, bought by Mr. Kenny.
Yes, Mr Annott has declared the ABC guilty before the matter even gets to court.
Why we bother with the judicial system under this government is beyond me.
FM Bishop and the government must be worried. Julie turned up on Lateline tonight.
There ar4e a few Coalition MPs on the Central Coast in big trouble., Might even get the member for Doebel before it is over.
Neil. Time to grow up. Not working anymore.
Julie, under Mr, Rudd and Ms. Gillard, Indonesia agreed to change their visa arrangements for those coming from Iran AND OTHER COUNTRIES. That is the reason for for coming into that country. It is much harder to do so now.
Neil, by the way, you have told us nothing, that is not common knowledge.
At least FM Bishop is being asked some difficulties, questions for a change. Lateline
“he is one person neil !”
He was National President of the ALP.
How many years ago was that?
He is a sixty year old man, that appears will get his just desserts with a long sentence. Yes, the matter has been dealt with. No need for special IR courts to do so, either. It appears that unionist is answerable to the same laws of the; land as everyone else.
That is the message we should take from the Thomson and Williamson matters.
Neil, what union members should have learnt from this history, that they also have obligations to keep up what is occurring in their unions. Yes, a duty to take part in the process. No good doing nothing, then screaming when things go wrong.
I do believe the RC of Abbotty, in the union movement back three decades is a sated of money. There is one good action that could come out of it, when the HSU books are open for audit. Yes, it might just pick up two or three more, that are more guilty than Thomson, Yes, one or two, that was too close to Wlliamson,
In act, I fail to understand why HSU members are not being more alert, when it comes to their union. I say this, keeping in mind that it is only one branch that needs to be pulled into line.If I was a member, I would be demanding a restructuring of the whole HSU; Stilo that is their business.
Now Neil, we hear so much from you. No, I will reword that. We hear very little. Said over and over again. What we never hear, is what you think could remedy the situation,. Never any solutions or alternative ideas. Just many comments, taken out of context, not have
Neil, I am not even sure who it is that you hate, after all these years .
neil, if you insist on being in a time warp. remember a man called pig iron bob menzies ? the year is 2014 neil ! wake up !
I* see the cattle are back in the Snowy. The shooters party has been paid off in full. (I wonder how Hunt sleeps at night.
I repeat the whole front bench of the LNP have been bought and are totally corrupt ! now neil pay attention, the year is 2014. the lnp are out to destroy australia, that includes the people, the creatures, and the environment ! and dopes like neil support total destruction !
What is this government about. Is it as bad, as all the evidence so far points to?

We all have to ask, whats in it for abbott ? is it just power he wants ? or is there so much more to it ? does he and his mates have secret bank accounts that big business is paying into ? He always has a smirk on his face. No doubt about it, the man is evil to the core !
G’day All,
Ahh, the three stooges of the LNP, Oxygen Thief (V-B-S), Waste of Space (Null of Sydney) and Palmersorearse (™ LOVO), in unison regarding the RAN Piracy specials (orange roughy lifeboats), here is the truth “The figure, revealed in letters tabled in the Senate by Assistant Immigration Minister Michaelia Cash, indicates the government is paying more than $200,000 per lifeboat, each of which is understood to be used only once”, how’s that you poor deluded, uni-neuronal cogs of the seriously incompetent LNP? How sad it must be for you three to see how badly you are used and abused by you political masters, still you must be proud of how reviled you will be by your progeny, should any of you be lucky enough to find a partner willing.
G’day All,
Just a quick thank you,
LOVO

Can’t stop chuckling, thanks Shaun and you too Bacc’s….
Can’t thank you enough for your quick witted spontaneity, love reading your comments every time (and thus feel I have to recognise it in even a small way).

Thank you, it is something that has me really puzzled (worried), if the RAN intercept a refugee boat beyond the 22km Australian exclusion zone and places its occupants in an “orange roughy” for tow back, then that’s an act of piracy on the high seas. If it is within the 22km exclusion zone then by law the boat has “arrived in” Australia and q.e.d. the boats haven’t stopped. I know the MSM won’t liberate this situation but sooner or later it is going come out, and knowing the current misfits in government they will try and land the blame on the RAN (read “sacrificial lamb” AKA Lieutenant General Campbell, I don’t use Three Star General as that is an American defence rank). I know I am deeply ashamed of what this current oligarchy has done to Reza and his family and to all the other refugees, as I am sure you are too, but sooner or later (preferably sooner) the rest of the world is going is going to start shinning an eye on Australia.
” how’s that you poor deluded, uni-neuronal cogs of the seriously incompetent LNP? ”
Fact is the boats have stopped. In 2007 we had 6 boat people in detention. Christmas island was empty. The whole detention center network only cost $140M.
We are now spending $1B more/year because of your vote in 2007. Worse, our humanitarian places are sold to the highest bidder and has been turned into a boat race. First in gets you a place and you can get a place for $10,000.
Lets hope Morrison can clean up this mess and we take our refugees from UNHCR camps.

OK lets take all 40 million refugees.
Would you have a problem with that??
We have a problem with YOU! defending this lying totally corrupt government !
@ Carol Taylor
Drown?
No Carol, he cannot drown. He is full of too much wind. Helen Ridout is being criticized in senate hearings because of her role in the Australian Superannuation Fund. Could it really be, that she sometimes voice views that are not to the liking of the right. Standing Committee on Economics.
The senator is pushing hard to discredit her.
Questioning her position on the RBA. Accusing her of having a conflict of interest. Answer is, that most on these boards would be in the same position, as they want business leaders appointed.
@Shaun J – you really should try not to display your abject ignorance on most matters. There is no “22km Australian exclusion zone”. You are obviously not au fait with various international agreements. We know you are oblivious to the proper interpretation of Article 31 of the Refugee Convention.
For you edification, Australia has the following nautical zones:
12 nautical miles territorial waters
24 nauticle miles contiguous zone
200 nautical mile exclusive economic zones
Australia is merely returning criminals to Indonesia who have fled there without paying their 150,000 rupiah departure tax. We are helping Indonesia in the execution of their laws – they should thank us. Do you really want these fucking crims here – imagine what laws they would break.
Hang on, they already do that – heaps of these fucking illegals (pursuant to Article 31) are already in jail for rape and sexual assault on women.
Exactly Neil – these bleeding hearts offer no limit to the number of Muslims we receive. We have seen what their culture is like overseas where they go chopping off heads and hands for bugger all reason. Keep these neandethals in their own Islamic countries where they can reduce global warming with the amount of CO2 they exhale by killing each other off. Allahu akbar !!!!!!!
@diannaart – I didn’t see you marching in the streets as Juliar Gillard and Rudd murdered 1300+ babies, children, women and men. Where were you representing those dying babies ????
Poor Tony Abbott – doesn’t get diversity very well.
Thinks forests are just about trees and infrastructure just about roads.
Quelle embarrassant 😮
@Palmersaurus
You have no idea what I look like – how would you know what or whom I have protested about?
Apologies to all intelligent people – sometimes one just has to point out bleeding obvious.
90% support Burke’s solution to the forest agreement in Tasmania. I suspptect it is more about Lablor’s success, than any real interest or concern for jobs for timber workers. By the way, no matter what, the numbner employed will be small.
Personally, I have no concerns about the religion of any asylum seekers that come.
Most are fleeing fundamentalist and extreme Muslims in their own country. Many are not even Muslim.
We are a great country, that has been built on migration. Yes, and the best migrants have been refugees, and even those fleeing poverty. Yes, will to strive for a better life for themselves and more so do their kids.
Many of the present asylum m seekers are highly educated, and have much to offer this country.
In Australia, it could and should be a win win situation.
@dianaart – it is easy to descibe you from your postings:
30s female who has hairy armpits that have never seen a spray of deodorant. Hairy unshaved legs that are encased in in hemp sandals. You wear a sarong made in Bangladesh by little kids, even though you protest against it. You support little kids and pregnant women drowning in the Sunda Strait.
You support Muslim intergration with, especially the right to female genital mutilation, forced marriages, underage sex, the killing of gays and other progressive views held by Aussie muzzies.
You are an atheist and vote Green. You are childless by choice. You are a public servant. You are a lesbian.
Need I go on ??????
If a poll was taken that asked:
Do you support the right of unemployed timber workers to earn a living by opening a few acres of forest where wild pigs are destroying watercourses”
I’m sure you’d find the response would be 90% in favour.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Best laugh I ‘ve for at least ten minutes, thank you
He is a funny little troll that’s for sure, and so full of shit. Purely posting to provoke, but such inane and idiotic stuff it can only be comedy from a tiny brain.
I do like him for one serious thing as he’s called Howard a murderer.
“An article exposing the “inhumanity” of t”hose bastards ” – the refugees/asylum seekers who dare to seek….”
OK lets take all 40 million refugees.
Would you people have a problem with that??
“I do like him for one serious thing as he’s called Howard a murderer.”
Too funny that is my opinion of YOU.
After Howard stopped the boats YOU encouraged people to come here by boat and look at what happened. Come here, come here said Adrian of Nowra. And they drowned in their thousands.
Everybody who voted for Rudd in 2007 is responsible for what has happened.
Even worse- thousands of people from UNHCR camps have been denied places in Australia because Min, Adrian, Michael and all the retards who post here voted for Rudd in 2007.
@NoS
Distasteful as it is, occasionally one responds to trolliash idiocy – you, NoS are the only person who is claiming that number – it has no relevance to Oz, and is hardly a meaningful response to Abdal’s story (as I linked to above),
Certainly, Abdal and his family appear to more able, and likely to make a positive contribution to our society than you, or your racist mates have, or are ever likely to..
2013 the second hottest year El Niño since 1850.
Sorry I posted that in the wrong thread as this is the one about this government’s fraud and expensive response to climate change, just like their fraud and very expensive response to Australia’s broadband needs.
Somehow a topic on yet another Abbott and his woeful government’s failure got turned back onto Labor in the past and boats, which apparently some inane heartless and inhumane idiots think is something to brag about.
“it has no relevance to Oz,”
Based on the monthly figures before Rudd lost the election, 40,000 boat people/year were arriving and could easily double to 80,000/year.
The USA has 15 million Mexicans living illegally. I understand the concept. A Mexican wakes up in the morning trying to get breakfast from a bin in a Mexican slum. He therefore illegally crosses the border and cleans toilets in California.
Most of us would do the same. However that person is not a refugee.
No wonder Joyce did not want to talk about carbonb tax.
More
,blockquote>…….Tony Abbott told the house of representatives on Thursday the government was seeking to repeal the tax because “the carbon tax has been a $106m hit on jobs at Qantas in the last financial year and a $58m hit on jobs at Qantas in the current half year. That’s the truth.”
And on Wednesday he said: “Just so that members of this house should know what the situation is, Qantas has today put out a statement to say: we have said that the price on carbon is a cost to our business that we have not been able to recover through fare increases … So there we have it: the carbon tax is a drag on Qantas that it does not need. It is a $106m hit on jobs at Qantas. We will get rid of the carbon tax, but the leader of the opposition wants to leave this $106m-a-year hit on Qantas in place.”…….
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/06/qantas-carbon-tax-bill-has-been-covered-by-ticket-surcharge?CMP=ema_632
Could the truth be, that once again, Abbott is misleading parliament and the people.
Do not forget, all were given money by the government to compensate for any cost the so called tax caused.
“which apparently some inane heartless and inhumane idiots think is something to brag about.”
The only heartless deadbeat is you , Adrian of Nowra.
Have you any idea of the damage you have caused because of your vote in 2007??
Our humanitarian places can now be bought and sold by smugglers. Millions of dollars can be made by selling our 13,750 humanitarian places.
Meanwhile people in UNHCR camps cannot get a place like we used to do under John Howard.
May you rot in hell for all eternity for all the damage you have caused.
Their idiocy prevents them from seeing that the more they imagine they have “won” the more they actually lose.
“Their idiocy prevents them from seeing that the more they imagine they have “won” the more they actually lose.”
Hey, too bad for the people stuck in UNHCR camps because of your vote in 2007.
Oh they lost a long time ago pterosaur1 and know it, which is why they raise these utterly inane and clownish arguments, nearly all harping on about Labor in the past, as a means of distraction about their losing the debates.
There is no greater proof on how bad this government is that its most ardent and mindless supporters can’t directly defend it or honestly laud it, instead they must resort to constantly attacking Labor who aren’t in government.
——————-
Yet another massive carbon price lie from Abbott I see Fu. He just can’t stop telling massive lie after massive lie can he.
There’s a good poster of him around the social media, where in response to different industry heads giving excuses as to why they are shutting down, not one of which mentioned the carbon price, Abbott in almost exactly the same words blamed the carbon price and workers.
And I see Abbott is now going to bring in WorkChoices, so this will be his biggest broken promise so far, in what has been nothing but broken promises from this woeful and terrible government.
Yep, maybe Abbott stopped the boats, but the PNG Scheme plus Indonesia tightening up their visa conditions played a bigger part in what is occurring.
In fact Morrison and Abbott, seem well on the way, to destroying the PNG scheme, and ther4 is no further separation from Indonesia.
He also seems to be stopping jobs, and yes action to deal with carbon emissions.
In fact, Abbott seems intent on stopping all that Labor achieved.
The biggest thing that Abbott wants to stop, is unionism., This one, we cannot afford to let happen.
“instead they must resort to constantly attacking Labor who aren’t in government.”
Wow, what a way to defend the lives YOU have destroyed. I Adrian of Nowra encouraged people to come here by boat. Come here. come here says Adrian. And down they went to the bottom of the ocean.
I believe Abbott would like to turn this nation back to the mid 1950’s. Back to pre Whitlam days. Only then will he be happy.
I need to remind some. It is, as Marx and I think Adams, along with others predicted, it is not only the workers who are at risk, but by the miff class. They are rapidly disappearing in the land of the free, the USA. Yes, they now have incomes, that force them to live in their cars. Yes, degrees and education have not protected them.
To gain what they are after, they have to first destroy the unions. Yes, the workers represtenive when negotiating with the boss.
“I believe Abbott would like to turn this nation back to the mid 1950′s”
I believe that you are a fool.
Your Sincerely
Neil of Sydney
Neil, if one does not suspect or believe that, they are doomed.
From Neil’s response, I suspect he is not as big a fool as he makes out.
Yes, the middle class under that corrupt millionaire half-white president Hussein Obimbo have lost a fortune under him. Most have found their health care policies vastly increase if the had private or no coverage. If they had work provided health care, it has been downgraded by the employer in a lot of cases. And a lot of businesses have got around the Obamacare legislation by turning there employees into part-time workers working under 30 hours per week.
That boy from Kenya is a friggen legend. I’m also sure Putin is pissing his pants over the mulato’s threats.
No, just the nature of pure capitalism. Has been going on for decades. Result of years of tax cuts to the wealthy and industry.
Nothing to do with Obama.
Well Fedup – are you suggeting that 16 year old Islander girls shouldn’t fear Somali refugees raping them in the Blacktown area ????
I do not believe they came by boat. I suspect these came, as you would say, legally.
Criminals are found in all races and cultures,
Crimes among asylum seekers are actually lower.
Sorry, nothing to do with being refugees, nationality or religion.
Yes, it is a shocking crime. Others from the communities of the offenders have joined all in Blacktown, in their outrage.
Will be interesting to see what the backgrounds of these young men are, when the law has taken its course. (Is that the country where one finds child soldiers?)
Had a husband, who ancestors came by ship in the late 1870’s who rape my daughter from the age of seven for many years. He even manages to get her to her pregnant at 12. Yes and still did not leave her alone. There are animals in all races… Yes, Christian and white by the way.
Crimes among these people are actually lower.
Sorry, nothing to do with being refugees, nationality or religion.
You are indeed scraping the bottom of the barrel. Will have to do better.
palmersaurus so does that mean you condone the rape of children by white Australian males, which is who commits the vast majority of rapes in this country?
Being the racist you are, I haven’t seen you speak out against that.
Have you bothered to look up the ABS crime statistics on asylum seekers allowed into Australia? Of course you haven’t, you are all about bashing them because of a very small and closed minded ideological view.
ME. When one has to spread lies and slander about a race, they have no case to present.
He ignores the simple fact, many are not Muslim anyway.
On the ABC 24, they have shown the faces of five women, who have been killed over the last three months in NSW alone. Would be surprised if any, were Muslim/.
If one follows palmersaurus reasoning, women in this country should avoid having any relationships with White Christian men.
I should be advising my half Islander great granddaughter, in the Blacktown region, to stay away from all white men when she grows up.
Time to stop demonising any race or religion.
Palmersorearse(™ LOVO) and NoS are not only getting more inane and shrill 😮 me thinks their losing it, not only are their comments showing all that read here how NOT to be as an true Australian, they show a total lack of sanity/reason…… THEY ARE INSANE…… 👿
No wonder the Nationals are trying to distance themselves from the Lib’s, 🙄 because the Lib’s have become inane, insane ugly Australian’s………as evidenced by the trolls mentioned. 😈
“become inane, insane ugly Australian’s”
Really?? I wonder how many refugees lives you have destroyed because of your vote in 2007??
Under Howard we took our refugees from UNHCR camps. Under Rudd/Gillard we took people with $10,000, mobile phones and computers.
My conscience is clear. Trouble is ALP/Greens supporters have no conscience.
“This is insane. Abbott is insane. They are all insane. WTF is going on in this country?”
http://www.adeepgreenheart.net/?p=839
S-O-O-O you really ARE a dickhead NoS….though around here that has become a ‘said’ :razz”
LOVO, I do not know how anyone can justify a young man being murdered in one of our detention centres. Not only justify the murder, but lay the blame at the feet of the victim.
A man, it seems was not a part of any alleged protest. A man that was dragged from the computer room, and bludgeoned to death.
Even if this man was a murderer, this action would not be warranted.
Under Labor, it was planned to take nearly 30,000 per year. Under this government, the number was taken back to 13,750. Neil, why?
Yes, it was planned to take more from the region, which would have alleviated the pressure many felt to get on the boats.
Yes, some of the push factors would have been addressed.
Cruelty is not needed, End of story.
FU
That detention center was set up by the ALP/Greens. It was empty in 2007.
What happened is the fault of the ALP/Greens who encourage people to come here by boat. I have never heard a Coalition politician encourage people to come here by boat but you people do.
And by the way the guy who was murdered was not a refugee. He could not get a job as an architect in Iran, so he came here seeking a better life.
Under Howard we took refugees from UNHCR camps. Under Rudd/Gillard we took people with $10,000. The ALP started a system where our humanitarian places could be sold. Shameful
Load of bullshit Fed up. The Victorian crime statistic mob showed that Somalis have a crime rate that is 10 times that of whitefellas. Somalis even beat Aborigines in the crime rates. Go figure. I’m sure crime is not based on the colour of their skin – its just an unfortunate corelation.
Mobius – the vast majority of rapes are by people of colour – its a statistical fact when the ethic origin is compared as a percentage. More Aborigines are in jail for rape as a percentage of their population than whites are. Of course they blame this on lack of education (they didnt attend school), drugs (whitefellas forced them to take it), sole parenting (have you seen some of those lubras), and money (there are no Aboriginal millionaires).
Yeah right Fed up,
All those illegals that were coming of the boats wearing potato sacks over their heads were Christians or Jews fleeing persecution in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other leading progressive societies. Allahu akbar !!!!!
“And by the way the guy who was murdered was not a refugee. ”
So that means it was OK to allow him to be murdered?
Yes, Labor set up the PNG solution.
Now it seems to escape some, that Abbott and Morrison have been responsible for the establishing the PNG scheme.
It is now six months a down, he track, and it seems we are still at the same place, as when Labor left office.
It is only this week, that Morrison made plans to meet with PNG once a month. Once a month, after six months of doing nothing.
Labor was also working with other countries within the region. Yes, they made arrangements with Indonesia to change their visa conditions, that has led to as many as eight times asylum seekers coming into that country.
This government has ceased working with others in this region. In fact they have moved on to not talk to them, let alone work.
What happened in 2007 is interesting history, nothing more, except for what may have worked then, is not working now.
It is a coalition government in power. They are responsible for the running of Nauru and Manus.
They are responsible for any deaths. Yes, and in the sixty wounded, some seriously.
They are responsible for making the PNG scheme work.
It these people are not asylum seekers. They will be dealt with under conventions and laws, and returned to whence they came.
What is happening now, has little to do with Labor. Morrison wanted the job, It is up to him to fix things.
Talking to Indonesia and PNG might be a good place to begin.
No, the majority of rapes are not by people of colour. That is a completely misleading statement, and those who make such are deranged to say the least.
Some need to be careful. The colour people they are talking about, are those whose Ruddocks heart bled for. Yes, those bought legally by the government. By the way, the great majority are decent people. There are bad apples in every race.
So all those being named by the present RC into sexual abuse of children, in institutions are all brown people. Funny, they look very white to me. Do not recall one brown man among them.
You forget it was Kevin Rudd that sent the Iranian gay to his death at the hands of fellow muzzie scumbags. Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard hated gays back then. Worse than their Iranian counterpart who at least hanged them after a trial under muzzie law. Muzzies think its OK to have sex with 8 year old girls though, as long as they bleed.
Give us the stats palmersaurus. You shoot of a lot of racist guff and abuse but don’t supply any links.
Plus it’s telling all you ever go on about is Labor and others, never your beloved Liberal party who you so slavishly follow. Nothing more says how bad they are than that little reveal, or lack of address. Going by the way you mindlessly waffle on you’d think Labor was still in power, instead what we have in Abbott and his wanton lot is the worst government in our history, as our flagged only a month into their stewardship.
So I guess as you so fervently and blindly support the Liberal party you hate women in power as well, just as this government full of white middle aged males does?
So not only a racist but a misogynist as well.
Some on this site are sick indeed.
“It is a coalition government in power. They are responsible for the running of Nauru and Manus.”
Typical Labor Party. The ALP urinates on the floor and expects someone else to clean up the mess.
This whole mess was created by YOU. Yes it was you FU. Because you voted for Rudd in 2007.
The ALP is a corrupt and immoral party elected by corrupt and immoral people.
It is true, that time to time, problems do arise in any group of people. There could be many reasons, aside from race and religion, and being brown skinned. It there is any truth in the allegations made here, without no link to data, it could be related to the trauma they are fleeing.
One thing I am sure of, it is not because brown skinned people rape more.
Well, Neil, they are responsible for cleaning the mess up. Up to this time, one can only assume they have made it worse.
One must also not forget, that this government while in opposition, oppose every action of Labor to do anything.
It was this government while in opposition, left Labor with no option but to reopen Naura and Manus.
Yes, the mess is theirs to clean up in MHO.
You really are a scumbag piece of work palmersaurus, obviously trying to push the limit here to get banned as a badge of honour.
So you rightly condone Muslims for their horrible practice of child bride and rapes but only by non-whites. You’re vociferous in condemning anyone of colour, even Aboriginals, yet have not condemned the institutionalised, systematic and covered up long term child abuse by the Christian church and organisations. The number of children abused has now been estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands by the UN. But what we get from you is racism and always bringing it back to non-whites.
And they’re still trying to cover up abuse, and have given the most senior member of our Catholic church a high position in the Vatican, a clergyman who covered up abuse.
And we haven’t in got started on the widespread abuse of woman and children by white males in our society, but you want to ignore that as it doesn’t sit well with your misogyny and race bashing.
“Well, Neil, they are responsible for cleaning the mess up.”
You finally said something i agree with. And a big mess it is. As usual.
“One must also not forget, that this government while in opposition, oppose every action of Labor to do anything.”
The ALP/Greens had the numbers to get anything they wanted through Parliament. You often brag about the amount of legislation that was passed.
“It was this government while in opposition, left Labor with no option but to reopen Naura and Manus.”
That’s an extremely good point Fu. Labor had a good workable solution in the S.E. accord and Malaysia, yet it was Abbott and the opposition who squashed it and insisted that Manus and Nauru be bought back and reopened, running a massive campaign along with the MSM on this. So Labor bought in the opposition’s policy as they couldn’t get support for their own, so it belongs to Abbott and this opposition, not Labor.
Then there’s the fact, widely reported at the time, of Abbott demanding and getting complete public transparency on all boat incidents and numbers, which the Labor government, being open and honest, supplied. Abbott would use that information to encourage the smugglers to send asylum seekers to Australia, shouting with almost glee for them to rush in as our borders were wide open and we welcomed them with open arms, which we didn’t. More of Abbott’s lies. Abbott was smirking and glad with every tragedy, the more the better for him and he did everything to encourage more boats for that reason.
So why isn’t Abbott as transparent and honest about the asylum seekers as Labor was. Yet we have the inane and gormless Liberal followers saying Labor is dishonest the Liberals aren’t. You can’t get much more a blatant example of projection than that.
These people could be all you two allege. They could even be worse. That still does not excuse the way they are being treated. Still does not warrant being murdered or badly injured.
What say required. Is orderly assessment, and if not genuine asylum seekers, sent back to whence they came.
No need to demonised.
I, for one fail to see why one would expect those living in poverty, trying to improve the position in life. Many of these people have the education and skills to offer this country. Then, that is another debate.
To say, that it is OK to bludgeon over sixty pe0ople within inches of their lives, with one dying is OK is something I cannot accept.
That is what happened on Manus.
“That is what happened on Manus.”
And how many people died in detention from 2007-2013?? NOBODY gave a stuff about deaths in detention until Abbott was elected.
Me, Neil is correct in one proposition. The Malaysian Solution, along with what followed from the expert panel was jettisoned with the help of the Greens.
The Greens wanted it all their way, and ended up with nothing. In fact, worse than nothing.
What is true, the opposition spent six years undermining every proposition put forward. Remember the tears an in parliament, when Gillard attempted to change the act.
This action of Abbott;s will come back very soon to bite him., Yesd, water prevented the Malaysian Solution, is just as true for Manus. Abbott cannot ensure the safety of these people. It is only a matter of time before it is back in the court,
Gillard warned Abbott at the time, this would happen. I believe, behind the walls, there is a great panic in the Abbott camp.
The question to ask, is what will Labor do, if Abbott takes the Gillard legislation back to parliament. The one they all stood up with tears, to reject.
Morrison has made arrangements to go to PNG once a month. I suggest he should be ordered to go immediately, and not come back, until he has cleared up his mess. That he is only allowed home, when full agreement is made with the PNG government.
Neil, it is not about 2007. It is about 2014. Get it.
Even under Howard, I do not recall any deaths caused by the people being bludgeon to death.
“Even under Howard, I do not recall any deaths caused by the people being bludgeon to death.”
You really are milking it for all its worth. Playing politics with asylum seekers and dead people.
As you lot did back in 2007.
The ALP is a corrupt political party and leads to corrupt results.
“As you lot did back in 2007.”
Please explain?
You lot said Howards asylum seekers policies (ie Pacific Solution) were mean, nasty racist and a whole lot of other stuff.
Just telling lies for political purposes.
Now you are using a dead body for political purposes.
“…if Abbott takes the Gillard legislation back to parliament. The one they all stood up with tears, to reject.”
…and that’s what this terrible and wanton government is doing Fu, trying to implement the Rudd S.E. accord and Gillard Malaysia solution, but doing it on the sly, as is the way of this lot with everything, never being open and honest as they demand of others, the hypocrites.
Only they can’t get a S.E. accord as they’ve badly screwed relations with just about all our Asian nations and they are trying to replace Malaysia with Cambodia, which has a far worse human rights record than Malaysia, and it was Malaysia’s human rights record they used in parliament to scupper Gillard’s policy.
I cannot find a more blatant example of Liberal party and Abbott hypocrisy than that, and it comes on the back of a whole string of things they opposed in opposition but have implemented or continued now in government along with breaking many of their promises.
Terrible, terrible government, the worst this country has ever seen and one that will have many history books telling of their gross failures.
OK Möbius Ecko – I’m searching for the latest stats – I remember Andrew Bolt, an Australian freedom fighter – publishing them some time ago. But in the meantime, some interesting articles on our “persons of interest” as the police call them:
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/opinion/tell-truth-on-ethnic-crime/story-e6frfhqf-1225842538542
http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/sorry_for_telling_us_the_truth_about_african_crime_rates/
Knowing that you wouldn’t trust Bolta, here’s what that august journal, The Age has to say:
“The police statistics show the rate of offending among the Sudanese community is 7109.1 per 100,000, while for Somali people it is 6141.8 per 100,000. The figure for the wider community is 1301.0 per 100,000.”

So as you can see, these illegal economic aliens are going to create a crime wave in Oz, particularly when it comes to offences against women, especially white women.
The abuse by churches stopped in the 80s. It appears though that kids who attend public schools face constant danger from atheist teachers, particularly female high school teachers in NSW. Heaps have been convicted in the last few years. Bloody animals. Haven’t seen any victims come forward in Catholic schools accusing priests or other clergy over the past 20 years.
I think one will find, the people that are being malign, did not come by boat. I am also sure, if the stats are found, they do not say brown people are rape more than whites.
Still has nothing to do with the fact, that this government along with Morrison is making a mess of e dealing with asylum seekers.
ME, Abbott is going to need that leglistation to stay on Manus., He will have to prove to the courts he can protect these people. After their actions over the last six months, this is going to take some doing.
No, abuse by the church is still occurring, Yes, and by all other organizations that deal with children. Yes, the Sallies and scout masters, among many others come to mind.
One can only hope, that now the cover ups will cease.
Maybe you should ask Derryn Hinch how many, now in jail are brown skinned.
Hang on palmersaurus that’s for immigrants, not for asylum seekers, and only Victoria.
Also abuse by the Churches and Christian organisations didn’t stop in the 80’s. My how ignorant you are.
No wonder you’re a Liberal supporter, they thrive on the dumbed down believe all shit thrown at them like you.
By the way if you look at the crime stats from the ABS for asylum seekers it’s a fraction of the wider community, 45 times less. And that makes a lot of sense if you think about it.
But those who come in through immigration, even through the humanity program, are likely to have higher crime rates as it’s criminals who get through in the camps by extortion, bribery, violence and even murder. There are stats on that if you want to look. It’s why the asylum seekers flee the camps and take the risk of people smuggler as to stay in the camps is to be abused, beaten up and even killed. The crime gangs use the threat of killing their children and raping their daughters etc. to take their possessions and push them to the back in processing, also taking their identity.
But the normal migration program, not the humanity or other displaced persons’ programs, but normal immigration, that sees the most criminals and then formation of ethnic gangs into this country and most other countries.
As to your guff on Bolt, now I know you’re an absolute joke and just trolling by throwing out utter bullshit.
How many people are we talking about here?
If that abuse stopped back in the 1980’s there would be no need for the RC now.
I think that one will find, there was more at play than the color of one’s skin.
If you have been watching the TV or reading the papers, you might have noticed that all the complainants are aged between 55-80. One of them even died of a heart attack after giving evidence. How many will commit suicide after they have reopened old wounds themselves. And most who have appeared bfore the Commission appear to have already received compensation by the Catholic and Anglican churches.
83 per cent of Sudanese settlers identified with one of various Christian denominations, 12 per cent were Muslims.
How and when did the vast majority of our African refugees arrive in Australia?
Were they, in fact, selected because they were in the majority Christian?
Who would discriminate in such a fashion?
Oops, those pesky facts again 😉
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-03-03/children-in-nsw-foster-care-still-at-risk-royal-commission/5294958
I seem to recall, back in Howard’s day, Ruddoch on more than one occasion saying we had to stop the boats so we could bring more from Africa.
Have never heard Labor force similar concerns,
I would not get too excited about those figures, The numbers are a small and could mean anything. I notice they are mostly about theft and assault. The article even puts suspicion on the figures.
I am sure they do not say brown people rape more that white. In fact, I did not see the words sexual mentioned at all.
One would have to know much more, including the context and a little more, before coming to any conclusion.
It seems that our friend has put his own definition on what they mean.
Still does not entitle one to support bludgeon ng and the killing of people in detention. Not even a decent diversion, away from what is being debated.,
Yes, it is about what this government is doing. Not about the previous government.
Oi Bacchus,
What about these facts:
“Indigenous children are four times more likely to experience child sexual abuse than other Australian children. The figures represented 19.48 per cent of substantiated child abuse reports in Australia, compared to Indigenous children only representing 4.7 per cent of the 0-17 age bracket of the Australian population, she said.”

The ugly Australian’s, In a democracy the elected government is a reflection of the character of the majority of it’s people. Australia has got the government it deserves. >>.Countries in the region and elsewhere should know who their dealing with when they deal with this Australian Government.
Diplomats preparing for the UN Human Rights Council next month have expressed concern Australia is working to ”actively undermine” a push for an international inquiry into human rights abuses in Sri Lanka, because of Australia’s eagerness to co-operate with the country’s leaders on asylum seekers. LOL, What else would they expect from a Government that when in opposition, June 2013, put the then Prime Minister Julia Gillard on a LNP dinner menu describing her as, Julia Gillard Fried chicken. Small breasts, Huge Thighs and big red Box, To add insult to injury the Australian Murdoch media, ( about 70+% of Australia’s media outlets) supported them. 75% Inc radio networks under contract. Hard to believe. Read more > Julia Gillard’s vagina on the menu. We have aboriginal asylum seekers now? 😯
As terrible as those facts are, it’s still very much a “look over there” from our redneck bigot 👿
Children who live in poverty and over crowded conditions, are more likely to suffer sexual abuse.
Sexual abuse is found in all levels of society. Very hard to discover or prove in upper income homes.
Still does not explain, why one believes it is OK to bludgeon to death, people in detention.
Current Time and date New York, International Woman’s Day. Saturday, 8 March 2014 at 4:10 AM EST. Have Fun Julia Gillard..http://www.youtube.com/wa

By the way, Bough Intervention, using the army, did not find those alleged cases of sexual abuse. All the figures used in the reason for intervention, was taken from court cases. Yes, cases identified and dealt with by the law. Not exactly hidden.
39% of murders in the NSW alone related to DV. Yes, almost six hundred in the last decade. In the last six months Another one today.
Found in all levels of society.
This is a real threat to women and children, Not one created inb the fevered minds of those who hate migrants
The papers this morning, showed the photos of five in the last six months.
Ten News and ABC 24.

Don’t write crap, the truth can’t be that hard
Yes palmersaurus, the stats on Aboriginal child abuse are fact, but many of the facts the Howard government bought out as and excuse for the NTER, especially on Brough’s proven false claim of organised paedophile rings were lies. Indeed as was pointed out to Howard at the time a considerable amount of abuse of Aboriginal children, especially preteen girls, was being done by white males. Miners, truck drivers, who would groom them with alcohol and porn, agents and others who had permits or access to Aboriginal areas. When this was pointed out to Howard he promised he would be as thorough investigating that and as harsh punishing them as he would the Aboriginals who abused children. But as was so typical of Howard what he said and did were two totally different things, and he never kept his promise, instead denigrating Aboriginals for a perceived political gain that he never got.
To Labor’s shame and denigration they continued the NTER, just as to their utter shame they took up the opposition’s asylum policy and then that was used against them.
But the distraction of Aboriginals you raised doesn’t take away from the distraction of the crap you tried to pull with the immigration stats.

Mr sore palms ! WTF is wrong with you ? you really are a piece of crap !
Glad to see you supporting an alleged rapist. What a scumbag this guy is in not fronting court. Plus he certainly proved how unreliable he is in losing all that bail money from his supporters. What an ethical guy he has been over the years. Shouldn’t be long before he needs hospitalisation and is finally deported to face trial.
What don’t you get palmersaurus? Are you as stupid a redneck as you come across here or you really the troll playing at it to get you tiny minded rocks off?
Speaking of scumbags have a look at this
http://pickeringpost.com/story/those-who-aspire-to-lead-us/1121
“Don’t for a minute think that criminality in its worst forms is confined to Labor, but the Party of the workers sure leads the way and it’s usually at the expense of the very workers they presume to protect. ”
I had a lot of fun connecting the ALP scumbag to the picture.
I would not click on a pickering link for love or money….. anyone that does is surely going to be deluded. pickering is a scumbucket…… anyone who posts a pickering link is, by definition, a scumbucket too!!! ….. and saying Bolt is an “Australian freedom fighter” is complete farce 🙄 bolt is a complete loony, a nutter, a fucking sleazebag with Gina’s arm up his arse, he’s a paid for Ho’ and apart from that he’s not a very nice human. Basically, if you listen to bolt or pickering YOU ARE A NUTTA. *waves* to palmy and NoS. 😛
“I would not click on a pickering link for love or money…”
Yep. Too afraid of the truth. i click on Cafe whispers even though i disagree with everything.
THE TRUTH from pickering or bolta 😮 , bwwaahaahaahaaha, are you insane………..
oh, that’s right 😀
Lovo, asking rhetorical questions 😀
😆 😆 😆
By the way i see a former ALP National President has just been charged.
Is there anybody in the ALP not under investigation??
People should look at this Pickering link
http://pickeringpost.com/story/those-who-aspire-to-lead-us/1121
Pickering is a low-life criminal – WTF would any sane person look at that $#!t?
Bacchus
It is a lot of fun linking the corrupt ALP pollie with the crime.
You should try it.
Julia Gillard will soon be charged over the Power of Attorney. There was no way she flew to Perth to sign it.
ME, there is much manipulation of stats going on here. What is that old saying about stats?
What is true, the Intervcewnti9n did not find great numbers of abused children.
The vastly overcrowded living conditions of these people were a greater danger to them.
Still does not excuse us from the way asylum seekers are treated by this government.
Charged over the power of attorney, that occurred two decades ago. Even if convicted, would incur no more than a slap over the wrist. Yes, a procedure wrong. There was no allegation that the person involved questioned the power of attorney itself.
@FedUp – she will go to jail as she was an “Officer of the Court”, just like Marcus Einfeld – another corrupt ALP pig like Michael Williamson, former Prsident of the ALP, Craig Thomson who used hospital cleaners dues to fuck prostitutes.
Yet palmersaurus you seem to have no problem with the systematic rorting by the Liberals. Wonder why that is?
Palm, I think you are dreaming.
No one has denied the signature that she witnessed was not correct. Just that he was not present when she did. Yes, not proper procedure. Going to jail, I think not.,
Non Murdoch news. Not news Ltd> A Leak from A Source. How many Aussie’s have invested in the Rare Earth project near Dubbo NSW, LOL, How many Aussie’s know about the project besides Malcolm Turnbull and co, ,Insider trading is illegal in Australia, for some. >>http://www.alkane.com.au/index.php/faq/dubbo …… .Not News Ltd > Chinas grip tightens on rare earth; Analysts speculated that a large discovery of rare earth metals in the Pacific Ocean may have acted to loosen the Chinese monopoly on such resources, but now it appears the discovery is not large enough to impact China’s market control.

Oi Slumdog – corrupt union officials with union credit cards and ALP senators with expense accounts want to inspect Qantas books. Why cant shareholders do same. Unions and ALP senators want to illegally trade shares using this insider information.
No doubt the Taliban will use the money to educate their girls at university
Of course we have not seen those numerous number of Abbott’s people who are regularly rorting the system. Of course, one is entitled to expect the taxpayer to pay, for them attending weddings. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong in saying you are working for charity, while picking up your expenses from the government.
Yes, and there is Abbott is setting up of that slush fund, with the aim of sending a MP to jail.
Yes, and misleading the parliament each day, is the norm for this mob.
Grow up, crooked and slimy politicians can be found everywhere, thankfully in this nation, there are not many.
It appears the law does deal with most.
The game that some play, that is, your side is badder than mine is, is a complete waste of time, and proves absolutely nothing.
Not even a good diversion tactic, as it has been used to often. Not many are interested anymore.
